Dad’s Flank steak Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb flank steak

  • 1/4 cup minced red onion

  • 2 minced garlic cloves

  • 2 Tbsps dijon mustard ( I use a dijon from taderjoes.com which I love! )

  • 1/3 cup olive oil

  • 1 tsp steak rub ( I use Gindo’s Prime Steak Rub at www.gindos.com )

  • 1 Tbsp sweet soy sauce from ABC noodles found on amazon.com or you could use regular soy sauce if in a pinch

  • 2 tsps Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 lemon squeezed

Finished marinade: you can taste it now… and you should!

Directions:

  1. Begin by tenderizing your flank steak and then seasoning it with your favorite steak rub and set aside.

  2. Using a medium sized mixing bowl add the remaining ingredients and whisk together thoroughly.

  3. place seasoned flank steak in a ziplock back and add marinade. Refrigerate for 4 to 24 hours, grill and enjoy!
