Dad’s Mediterranean Rub

Berts Mediterranean Rub - 4 oz

This particular rub is the one used most frequently in our house. A blend of sea salt, lemon, sumac and garlic; this spice is ideal for chicken, pork, vegetables ( especially salad ), seafood and noodles. You can find all of the spices used in this rub at www.360flavorandspice.com

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 oz sea salt

  • .25 oz sugar

  • .30 oz minced garlic

  • .20 oz minced onion

  • .20 oz granulated garlic

  • .20 oz onion powder

  • .30 oz black pepper

  • .40 oz minced lemon peel

  • .10 oz parsley

  • .20 oz crushed sumac berries

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Measure out ingredients using a kitchen grade scale.

  2. Combine all ingredients in a medium sized mixing bowl and stir together thoroughly.

  3. Store in a mason jar. This recipe makes approximately 4 oz of rub.
